We raise money for charities, organisations and individuals! 100% of the money raised from the public is used for charitable purposes. 85% is used in the Nuneaton area. We have raised over £530,000 for local charities and causes since forming the club.

Hosting local events in Nuneaton.

We love hosting and getting involved in event. We help to run the Civic Bonfire, putting on concerts, quizzes, and running stalls at local events across Nuneaton.

Service is more than the sum of our collective deeds — it is the wellspring of our heart. As Lions and Leos, we serve to see our communities inspired, equipped, and transformed. We believe that even the greatest challenges can be overcome by the power of kindness.

STORY

Nuneaton Lions Club is part of the International Association of Lions Clubs, which is the largest service organisation in the world. It has a membership of 1.4 million people serving across over 200 countries.

Our club was formed in 1968 and since the formation of our club, we’ve made and continue to make donations to various causes, assisting with the needs of children, the sick, the elderly, and the homeless. We’ve been involved with various health initiatives, provided relief aid from major disasters around the world, and more recently helped our local communities in various ways during the COVID-19 pandemic.

PRESIDENT

I have been part of the lions for the past three years and I am honoured and privileged to have been trusted with the title of president of the Nuneaton Lions Club. Living and working in the local area helps me to understand how we, as lions, can best serve our community.
